A credential opens the doors they are authorized for and leaves a record of who was in the building and when. Nobody types anything on the guest's behalf, which is why a building with an unstaffed entrance works as well as a staffed one. There is nothing to install, for you or for them.

What VisitorPass is

Who is in the building right now, and who let them in?

VisitorPass is for guests and contractors coming into a building: offices, hospitals, plants. Most organizations run them through a mixture of front-desk routine, spreadsheets and badge cupboards.

Self-asserted arrivals

A name in a logbook is whatever the visitor wrote. Nothing links it to a documented identity.

Contractors who stay for months

Temporary staff, maintenance crews and auditors come and go for weeks, but are handled with tools built for one-hour meetings.

Access nobody withdrew

A pass stays active because somebody forgot to collect it when the engagement ended.

A register that cannot be relied on

Without a check-out, the record cannot separate who has left from who is still inside.

How VisitorPass works

One visit, end to end

A visit is one guest, expected somewhere, for a period: an hour or a season.

    Invited in advance

    The calendar invitation, the dashboard or another system creates the visit.

  2. 02

    No account to create

    The email carries a personal link to collect the VisitorPass, and that is the whole of the guest's setup.

  3. 03

    Identity proved where it matters

    The visitor template decides, so a contractor and a meeting guest are asked different things.

    The pass lands in their wallet

    Any wallet implementing the same standards can hold a VisitorPass.

  2. 05

    Check-in takes one presentation

    The kiosk shows a QR code, the guest presents the credential, and a visit happening now is matched, with a buffer either side of the booked window.

  3. 06

    Check-out closes the record

    The visit is closed on the way out, and the register keeps who was in the building and when.

Where identity was verified, the verification is recorded against the visit, documenting the link between a real identity and every door that opened. Where your access control system can record it, the outcome, including a guest's documented consent, is written back.

VisitorPass or SitePass?

Both run on the same platform

An electrician servicing an office uses VisitorPass. The same electrician on a construction site uses SitePass. A guest or a delivery on a construction site uses VisitorPass, alongside SitePass for the workforce.

AltID runs inside the booking and attendance systems a Danish municipality already uses, with Vejle as the first pilot, rather than asking anyone to adopt a separate system.

The Danish EUDI wallet, live since 3 June 2026

AltID is the Agency for Digital Government's app for ID and credentials, part of Denmark's implementation of the EU Digital Identity Wallet under eIDAS 2.0. The yellow health card, which over 3 million Danes carry on their phones, moves into AltID in Q4 2026 and the driver's license follows later, so more and more guests will already have AltID on their phone.
