About Partisia

What does Partisia do?

We build the proof layer for digital identity. Our platform issues and verifies credentials such as age, residency, and professional status, so your business gets an answer it can trust without receiving the underlying personal data. It runs on the eIDAS 2.0 standards we co-authored.

Who is Partisia?

A Danish company built on more than two decades of cryptographic research, and a spin-off from Aarhus University, where our founders helped turn multi-party computation from theory into something that runs in production. We are based in Aarhus.

What is multi-party computation?

Multi-party computation (MPC) lets several parties compute a shared result from data that none of them ever reveals to the others. The inputs stay encrypted throughout, and only the agreed result comes out. It is the cryptography underneath our identity and data-collaboration work, and its first commercial use in the world was a Danish sugar-beet auction we helped run in 2008.

Which sectors do you work with?

Partisia has been chosen across logistics, public healthcare, and manufacturing, and we work with governments, enterprises, and technology partners building on top of our platform. We name individual customers only where they have agreed to it, so ask us and we will tell you what we can.

Products and building with Partisia

Which products do you offer?

Three. VisitorPass is digital guest check-in for enterprises. AgeVerify proves a visitor is old enough without exposing their identity documents. Platform is the underlying infrastructure for teams that want to build their own credential flows.

How do I integrate Partisia into my own product?

Start in the developer documentation. The Get started guide covers the toolchain, and the My Data Activation section walks through issuing and verifying your first verifiable credential, including the Issuer and Verifier API references.

Do my users need a digital wallet?

No. A wallet is one identity source among several, and it is optional. Credentials can come from national eIDs or from credentials you already issue, and your users reach the flow through the web, mobile, or a kiosk you already run.

Can I build a flow that isn't one of your products?

Yes. That is what Platform is for. You get the issuing and verification primitives, and you decide what credential you ask for, where you ask for it, and what your service does with the answer.

What does it cost?

We do not publish a price list. Scope varies with volume, integration effort, and how you deploy, so we quote per project. Tell us what you are building and we will come back to you.

Privacy, security, and compliance

Does Partisia see or store our personal data?

No. Data stays encrypted under your keys, and Partisia never reads it. The verification returns a proof (old enough, resident here, licensed for this) rather than handing over the document behind it, so there is no pile of copied ID data to lose.

Is Partisia ready for eIDAS 2.0, and when do the deadlines hit?

Yes, and we co-authored the standards. EU member states must offer their citizens a digital identity wallet from December 2026, and private-sector acceptance follows in 2027. If you operate in the EU, that is the window to plan for.

What are you doing about quantum computers?

Partisia Quantum is a dedicated company for exactly that question. It covers the move to post-quantum cryptography, secure communication such as quantum key distribution, and secure multi-party quantum computation, so data encrypted today is not harvested now and decrypted later.

How is my data handled on this website?

Analytics are opt-in, anonymised, and cookieless, and nothing loads until you say yes. You can change that choice any time with the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page. The privacy policy names every processor and how long anything is kept.

How do I report a security issue?

Use the contact form and say it is a security report, and it will reach the right people. Our machine-readable policy lives at /.well-known/security.txt in line with RFC 9116. Please give us a reasonable window to fix an issue before disclosing it publicly.
